- What’s new: The first Chronomaster to drop the chronograph entirely, running the automatic El Primero-family caliber 3620 (5Hz, ~60-hour reserve, silicon escapement) as a time-only hours/minutes/seconds watch in a 40mm steel case with ceramic unidirectional bezel and 200m water resistance. It’s a deliberate move into the time-only sports-watch bracket occupied by watches like the Rolex Explorer — a segment the chronograph-only El Primero lineup couldn’t previously compete in.

The size cut is the real story: it gives buyers pilot-watch proportions without the bulk the automatic case carries.
