Description
Bulova Accutron 218 Day-Date, cushion case, early-to-mid 1970s
The tuning fork movement was the first electronic watch technology to reach the wrist, and the 218 is its most usable form: crown at the side, day and date at three, and a seconds hand that glides instead of stepping. It hums rather than ticks.
